KADEX-2012 in Kazakhstan
|According to the "Astana-Expo KS" company press service the "KADEX-2012" Second International Exhibition of Weapon Systems and Military Equipment" will take place on May 3-6, 2012 in Kazakhstan on the territory of the military sector of the Astana International airport.
The show is sponsored by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the "Kazspetsexport" Republican State Enterprise.
The major goals of the "KADEX-2012" exhibition are attraction of the most prominent foreign designers and manufacturers of the military and special-purpose products, promotion of cooperation with the Kazakhstan enterprises in the sphere of joint production and development on modern lines of armament and military equipment, exchange of experience in the problems of technological modernization of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main sections of the exhibition are Army and Navy weapon systems and military equipment; aviation and aircraft armament, air defense systems and means, IT-technologies, communication systems and aids, Logistic and technical support equipment.
Exhibits will be presented in four pavilions and on open ground, the total exposition area will amount to over 15,000 square meters. Over 200 companies from Kazakhstan, as well as from the CIS countries and far abroad will take part in the show.
The First KADEX-2010 International Exhibition of Weapon Systems and Military Equipment in Kazakhstan, (Kazakhstan Defense Expo), held on May 26 to 29, 2010, was the major event in the sphere of military and technical cooperation of Kazakhstan with other countries. Dozens of up-to-the minute samples of the weapon systems and military equipment, goods, developments and services, logistics, medical support, IT-technologies, engineering and infrastructure were presented at the show. Designers and manufacturers of the military, double-duty and special purpose products from more than 20 countries took part in the show. The "KADEX-2010" exhibition was a smoke-filled room and a meeting point for conducting negotiations between the delegations of more than 40 countries.
