On behalf of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation and from myself I welcome all participants and guests of the III International Forum "Engineering Technologies - 2014".
The modern world is impossible without high technologies and advanced production facilities, which determine the level of life of the citizen of any country. And the machine-building complex plays one of the leading roles in this progress and is the basis for the development and diversification of the economy.
It is encouraging that thanks to the initiative and coordinated actions of the government, representatives of leading companies, including joint ones with the largest foreign companies as well as Russian scientists and engineers, the full swing implementation of projects for construction of new and modernization of existing facilities is carried out. This allows to produce competitive products that meet the requirements of the domestic economy and international standards of safety and ecological compatibility.
Held in the framework of the Forum the exhibition demonstrating the representatives of the professional community and numerous visitors the modern condition and perspective directions of the industry development, present the latest developments and cutting-edge technological solutions, the latest achievements of world scientific and engineering thought. Extensive business program of the event will promote the active exchange of opinions on issues of development of science and technology, expansion of mutually beneficial international cooperation and promotion of Russian high-tech products on foreign markets.
