Work on the Business Program has been successfully completed
6,900 people visited the forum on August 15
Work within the business portion of the Engineering Technologies 2014 Forum wrapped up on the third day of the event. During this period, the Conference Centre hosted 14 conferences, round tables, and seminars with more than 1500 specialists. Moreover, the round tables and presentations were held at the stands of the corporate participants of the Oboronexpo exhibition.
On August 15, five conferences, round tables, and seminars were held as part of the Engineering Technologies 2014 Forum.
“National Automotive Industry: Current State And Future Prospects” round table was organized by the Expert Council on Innovation Development of the Automotive Industry and Special Machinery under the State Duma Committee on Industry, the Expert Council for Development of the Defence Industry under the State Duma Committee on Industry, the Automotive Industry Committee of the Russian Engineering Union, and the Association of Russian Automakers non-profit partnership.
Specialists discussed new ways of attracting college and university graduates to pursue work in enterprises and research institutes of the military-industrial complex as part of a research conference organized by the Russian Union of Youth, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, and Aviasalon JSC.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation in collaboration with the State Military Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus held the “Integration of the Russian Federation Defence Industry Enterprises and the Enterprises of the Defence Sector of the Economy in the Republic of Belarus” research and practice conference.
Intellectual Robot Systems initiated the seminar “Actual Use of Industrial Robots at Enterprises of the Military-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation”.
A conference on the development of electronic OEM and electronic engineering was organized by Karachaevsky Plant Electrodetal. Attendees also discussed import substitution and innovative developments.
The displays of more than 250 exhibitors were presented over a 15,000 m² area. Examples of weapons and military equipment as well as special and civil equipment were shown at the 6,000 m² open exhibition site. Twenty-four equipment units from the Ministry of Defence were displayed.
Third Day Statistics
The third day of the Engineering Technologies 2014 Forum brought together 6,900 attendees, including speakers, Business Program delegates, exhibitors, and business visitors. Over 2000 visitors arrived at the exhibition in their own vehicles and made use of the parking spots at the Gromov Flight Research Institute.
More than 20,000 specialists visited the forum on its first three days; over 100 speakers and at least 1,500 delegates and attendees took part in conferences and round tables.
The international exhibition is open to the public on August 16 and 17. Close to 35,000 people are expected to visit Engineering Technologies 2014 to look at the displays and watch the demonstration program, which includes the “Invincible and Legendary” military patriotic show and the “Fast and Furious” auto air show.
